beggar on the street

yesterday, my computer was sent to jiko because he is willing to repair my comp!

so, first of all, i want to say a big thanks to jiko!!!!!!!

next....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEIDI!!!!

and di! seriously? monolouge? live? hahaha! i don't think so!! =P

okok..

this post was inspired to be by 2 beggars on the street. i hope you get my point. "inspired by 2 beggars"

well, these 2 beggars changed my perspectives about beggars completely. the first one was playing a song, literally, by a band. 4 instruments! i was passing him under swanston street near art center, and a crowd was watching him there. you see, this is my perspective: everyone has a unique talent. look at yours. you might have a talent that many people will respect. and these beggars have a talent too: entertaining.

yes, entertaining. and that word does not come out too strongly at all. you see, every day i have to pass that place, or the flinder street tunnel, and those places are ALWAYS busy in the morning. the things i can hear is noisy people. and these "beggars" (i like to call them street entertainers now) are like unique ipods. and i truly mean it, they are unique in their own special ways. like the 4 instruments-street-entertainer, he's music is awesome!!

another "beggar" i came across is a travelling one. i know this because he's carrying somewhat of a large rucksack. and he's helping a tourist find his way through the city at night, around 2130. someone actually donated money when the street performer is not playing his music, but when he's helping the tourist.

you see, this is my new-found perspective: God places everyone on this earth for a purpose. everyone is unique. some people have enough money to live a good life, while some others struggle. these "beggars" are struggling, but they deserve to have respect from others. they are still human. put yourself in their shoes, do you want to be disrespected like that? and i'm NOT saying that you SHOULD donate, but i am saying that at least, don't avoid them, or don't look down on them. i know a lot of people do.

start smiling to any member of our race - the human race!

God bless you all!
